From Cubao, we boarded a bus in Partas Bus Station bound to Laoag. Alighting there, we waited for our service that brought us to Saud Beach Resort in Pagudpud. For direct trips to Pagudpud, try to check the Florida Bus Company for their trip to North.

Located in Ilocos Norte, Pagudpud is a must-visit paradise of the country. Its fine white sand and pristine water make the 12 hour drive from Manila via land trip travel-worthy. The paradise is often compared to the island of beautiful Boracay and is tagged as Boracay of the North. But is it really North's Boracay? Let's find out! Below are photos that await you in Saud Beach.

This place rarely gets crowded which is good if you want to enjoy the beach without stressing yourself to a bunch of tourists. There are a lot of beach resorts in Pagudpud. One of the popular beach resorts here is Hannah's Beach Resort where you can try the world's longest zip line over water. Aside from this, they also offer other water activities like snorkeling, banana boat riding and stuff.




One of the beautiful scenery you shouldn't miss here is the sunset view.


Also, enjoy the clear sky filled with a bunch of twinkling stars and moonlight at night.

To sum up our experience, it's indeed relaxing here. It is a place I won't hesitate recommending to everyone. But before finally putting this blog into an end, let's settle this first: is it really the Boracay of the North? I say no! It's P A G U D P U D!
