The Tale of Getting Valid IDs in the Philippines

Image
I’ve been feeling sad lately so I needed to write a blog (Lol!). But today's blog is totally different from the previous ones I posted. Recently, I have realized that as a working adult for three years now, the only valid IDs I have are just PhilHealth Card and Company ID. It is not new to everyone that we are currently under a worldwide health crisis and we are all heavily affected by its impact here in the Philippines. If you get what I mean, realizing that I don’t have enough valid IDs with me, definitely, getting other valid IDs would probably be much more difficult than it was before the pandemic.  Valid IDs are very important when dealing with both government and private transactions (e.g., proof of identity, bank transactions, sending and receiving a mail or package). Valid IDs in the Philippines are classified into two: (1) Primary Valid IDs and (2) the Secondary Valid IDs. The first ones are classified as primary identifications because they come in PVC Cards and/or issued...

When On Mountain-Tops

Image

Previous blogs were about crystal clear waters and white sands while today's travelog is all about summits and some hiking essentials and reminders you need to consider before getting go for a mountaineering activity. Actually, the three, as for me, share the same view at the summit so here...

The Dying Paradise Of South

Image
Summer is such an anticipated mark on our calendars. It is indeed the best time to beat the  init  by series of fun activities like hiking, swimming and stuff. But if summer is about hitting the beach, I am not the first one to feel excited about it among the group because I am such a thalassophobic person —  someone who's afraid of sea(?) not quite sure though. Despite of my thalassophobic condition, summer 2018 has become way different to the previous ones we had. When vacation was just starting to approach on April, I decided to dare myself to conquer my fear of seas by planning several beach trips along with my friends and family. A friend suggested Masasa beach at Tingloy, Batangas. I was not quite familiar with the beach so I had to check it out on the internet. Knowing about Masasa Beach Located at Tingloy, Batangas, Masasa is undeniably a paradise from the south but is also indeed a dying one. Last year, the beach has received its awful r...
